Hello, my name is Alexandra Thompson, but I go by Alexa. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, creating digital art, taking on commissions, and knitting.
I began my college journey while in high school. Although I walked with my graduating class in 2019, I officially received my high school diploma in 2020. In May 2020, I earned my associates degree from Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) and transferred to Northern Michigan University (NMU) to pursue my Bachelor’s degree.
During my time at NMU, I studied Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management (ORLM) with minors in Deaf Studies and Criminal Justice. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in December 2024.
I also have over 1.5 years of experience developing and supporting activity programs, creating engaging experiences, and working with participants in recreational settings.
